Sally Melville Designs
I thought of the wonderful intarsia tradition of argyle. (Remember argyle socks?) And I thought the best way to introduce this technique would be something simple—unshaped (so it doesn’t-have-to-fit-anyone), small (so it’s done quickly), fulled (so idiosyncrasies in tension even out). (It's named after my step-daughter, Annalee, who asked me to design a tea cozy that accommodates both side and top handles).
